Inception Late Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil pioneered the first cooperative sugar factory in Asia. His Ccooperative movement is considered as a tool for social education and economic Up-liftment of rural masses. With this inspiration, Sau. Sindhutai Ekanathrao Vikhe Patil established ‘Priyadarshani Gramin Mahila Mandal .Loni’ in 1988. To recognize the vision of ‘Padmashri,’ his worthy Son Hon’ble Padmabhushan Shri. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, (Ex Minister of State) started number of institutions in rural area in the field of Education.
Vision	Priyadarshani Gramin Mahila Mandal .Loni’ envisions globally competent, morally responsible, socially committed and highly dedicated student teachers to the noble cause of education in rural areas.
Mission	All round development of student teachers. Compassion for others, sense of responsibility and adherence to code of ethics for teacher. Develop research attitude and competencies in teaching pedagogy. Train student teacher using technology and its application in day to day classroom teaching in rural area. Promote learning inside and outside of the classroom.
Goals	To provide opportunities for continuous professional development and efficiency of student teacher. To assist student teacher in understanding principles, techniques, methods and process of teaching and learning. To help student teachers in organizing, supervising and participating in curricular and co-curricular activities of the school. To help student teachers in rural area in understanding the nature of child i.e. his or her abilities, aptitudes, instinct, ambition and intelligence etc.

Courses Offered

1. D.T.Ed : A 2 year diploma course in Marathi medium Only for Girls with intake capacity 50.
40 seats are filled by M. S.C.E.R.T and 10 seats filled by management.

This department conducts program for students to make them aware about the Places of Geographical and Historical importance in Maharashtra. Also visiting some renowned institutes which are related to social activities.
